About the Program
Our bariatric surgery program includes two bariatric surgeons, a nurse practitioner, a nutritionist/coordinator, a psychologist, a data manager and an administrative assistant. It is this team which has created the foundation for our quality outcomes in patient care and service. Without a comprehensive approach to weight loss, our outcomes would be nowhere near as successful. We offer support through monthly group meetings. In cooperation with our patients’ primary care physicians, we offer life long care and consultation.
For example, our gastric bypass patients lose on average 70% of their excess weight and see significant improvements or resolution of their obesity related conditions. 88% of diabetes mellitus, 81% of hypertension and 70% of hyperlipidemias are improved or resolved post-surgery in our patients.
