The Department of Urology at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center is composed of world-renowned physicians who specialize in a wide range of urologic diseases and urology procedures. In addition to providing general care, Wake Forest Baptist urologists offer state-of-the-art specialty care. The pediatric urologists provide specialized, expert medical care and urology surgical procedures to young patients. The Urologic Oncology program diagnoses and treats cancer of the prostate, bladder, kidneys and testes. The Continence Center provides a highly skilled diagnostic and treatment service for patients of all ages who have voiding dysfunctions. The Center is equipped with the state-of-the-art digital scopes which allows patients to view their procedures. Physicians skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of urinary calculus have developed a specialized Lab and Stone Clinic. Additionally, we offer patients care for erectile and ejaculatory disorders through our Sexual Dysfunction Clinic.

The Department of Urology has moved its patient care offices to 140 Charlois Boulevard in Winston-Salem. The new location, just a few minutes from Business 40, offers easy parking and an array of features for patient comfort and convenience. The building is handicap accessible, has separate waiting rooms for adult and pediatric patients and is WiFi-friendly.

Wake Forest Baptist is one of a few in the state offering the testing, which enables patients to get treatment tailored to their specific condition.

The department’s physicians are experienced in treating the complete range of urologic conditions and diseases, from kidney stones and sexual dysfunction to prostate cancer, incontinence and infertility. Our expertise also includes complex pediatric urology reconstruction, pelvic prolapse and robotic surgery for prostate cancer.
