The Western North Carolina Chapter of the Society for Neuroscience is dedicated to education and outreach. Each year, we reach thousands in the Piedmont Triad to inform you of the tangible benefits of brain research and how it connects to your life. We take our message to middle schools, high schools and to area children's museums. Each year, we sponsor seminars and symposia designed to bring the wonders of the brain to everyone. This effort is supported by volunteers and membership dues. We also accept support in the form of contributions from the community.
