Getting Involved

Prospective students visiting for interviews at Wake Forest University School of Medicine (WFUSM) are shown the friendly, caring and supportive attitudes of medical students and faculty in a community striving for excellence.

Applicants learn of the many opportunities for clinical study and research, as well as the many opportunities for recreation, athletics, arts, music, culture, volunteering and social events.

Graduate Student Association

The Graduate Student Association provides a means by which graduate students can actively influence and participate in student-related policies. It also protects the rights of graduate students while improving the quality of the environment for the students of Wake Forest University's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.

Life on E-Floor

“The Student Life Area and Fitness Center” includes the first-year lecture hall, physical examination and conference rooms, and a quiet study area open 24 hours. It also provides an aerobics and fitness center with steam room, showers and Nautilus equipment, as well as a TV lounge and vending area.

Student Organizations

There are a number of student organizations that offer opportunities to get involved in special interest clubs, student government, volunteering.

Oasis

Oasis is an anthology of artistry and literary expression crafted by students of WFUSM. More importantly, it is a collage of personas, ideas, philosophies and ideals that mirror the depth and diversity of the student body.
