Financial Aid

Graduate research and teaching assistantships and University fellowships are available to all qualified students. In 2008-2009, students receive financial support totaling $51,671, which includes a 12-month stipend of $22,181, tuition fees and a new IBM ThinkPad computer. Tuition costs are met in full by the University for students accepted into the program. In addition to the financial support provided by the University, several NIH funded Training Grants are also available for pre-doctoral students in the Neuroscience Program. These include: Sensory Neurobiology Training Grant, Neurobiology of Substance Abuse Training Grant, and Biology of Alcohol Training Grant.
