Mission Statement

The mission of the Purchasing Department is to support the purpose and goals of Wake Forest University Health Sciences (WFUHS) – its educational, research and patient care missions - by purchasing quality goods and services at competitive prices, and by providing professional, responsive service to all departments.

We achieve this mission through excellence in customer service, supplier partnerships, processing orders in a timely manner, implementing efficient ordering procedures, pursuing cost savings, developing relationships with small, disadvantaged, minority, women-owned businesses through our Supplier Diversity Program, and complying with the policies and regulations of WFUHS.
