Pathology's faculty and staff are dedicated to serving the region and community by providing superior diagnostic care, supporting and conducting advanced research, and educating professionals in pathology and its subspecialties.

Pathology's Sections on Comparative Medicine, Lipid Sciences, and Tumor Biology are online; visit their webpages to learn about each section's faculty and their research activities, facilities, and training opportunities.
In addition to clincial specialty training, the department's training opportunities, include residency and fellowship programs for both MDs and DVMs; graduate degrees; and both pre- and postdoctoral study. The Program in Medical Technology also operates within the department and provides valuable training to second-year residents as well as professional training for Medical Technologists.
