The department of Recreation Therapy was founded in 1975, and offers services to the following areas:

• Child/Adolescent Psychiatry
• Adult Psychiatry
• Rehabilitation
• Burn/Plastics/Renal
• Cardiology
• Hematology/Oncology
• Acute Care for the Elderly
• Critical Care
• Epilepsy Monitoring Unit
• Trauma/Medical Surgical

Programs are also offered in Aquatics at the J. Paul Sticht Center on Aging and Rehabilitation and Assistive Technology which is located at CompRehab Plaza

Massage Therapy services are offered for patients and family members, employees,and the community at CompRehab Fitness Center and on the 2nd floor of the Sticht Center.

The Child Life program offers programs for pediatric patients.
