Marcia Pike

I am married with 2 adult sons and 3 grandchildren. I am a lifelong resident of Kernersville, NC. In 1971, I graduated from Forsyth Memorial School of Nursing with a RN degree and am a Certified Asthma Educator. I joined Wake Forest University School of Medicine in 1981. I have 17 years of experience in allergy testing (environmental, drug and food), and do triage nursing and patient interviews for the section. Prior to joining the Pulmonary/Allergy section, I was employed for 13 years in Otolaryngology (allergy testing, assisted in various surgical procedures of the head and neck), an assistant director of nursing at a 233 bed skilled nursing facility, and staff nurse on surgical floor at Forsyth Hospital.
Kickboxing, golf, yoga and volunteering for church and community are among my hobbies. I also care for an aging parent and neighbors.
