Cecelia Tucker
I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 1979 from North Carolina A & T State University in Greensboro, NC. My 25 yrs of experience in the field of nursing has been in a number of settings, from inpatient bedside nursing in Med-Surg to outpatient care within a Family Practice setting. I enjoy patient teaching and the sharing of knowledge that can make a positive difference in the lives of others.
I have been with the section of Pulmonary Critical Care, Allergy and Immunologic Diseases for 2 years now and enjoy it immensely, especially the patient teaching. I am a trained Asthma Educator and a graduate of The Asthma Course on Asthma facts and Devices and Clinical Decision-Making that is given by The National Respiratory Training Center.
I enjoy interacting with the patients, especially our pediatric population, the allergy testing, the various challenges associated with each disease process, diagnosis and treatment of those with immunologic disorders.
