The Faculty
The Pulmonary and Critical Care Section consists of 13 full-time and two part-time M.D. faculty who are committed to the training of young physician investigators. The diversity of their training backgrounds and investigator interests assures a broad-based exposure to pulmonary/critical care medicine. In addition, there are five Ph.D. basic scientists who, along with laboratory technicians and clinical research nurses, form a research core that augments the fellowship training process. Additionally, many of the Pulmonary-Critical Care faculty members have joint appointments in The Center for Human Genomics with close collaboration in research ventures.
