Fellowship In Allergy & Immunology

Overview

The Allergy/Immunology Fellowship Training Program at Wake Forest University School of Medicine provides an exciting array of educational opportunities for trainees.  The program has been developed in collaboration with faculty in the Departments of Pediatrics and Internal Medicine to assure outstanding cross training within the subspecialty.  The administrative aspects of the program, as well as the faculty, are jointly housed within the two departments.  The program has seen the addition of new faculty with expertise in the genetics of asthma and atopic diseases. This has enhanced the research opportunities for our faculty and trainees, as demonstrated by awards of NIH Grants and contributions to the medical literature, and has reinforced the commitment to excellence in patient care.
