Brief Summary of Research:
My research has focused on the behavioral and physiological functions of the hypocretin/orexin system, particularly as it relates to high-arousal processes, stress, and motivated behavior. My current interest is to characterize the extent to which the hypocretin system participates in reinforcement and addiction processes.
