Brief Summary of Research:
Research has focused on the neurochemical mechanisms of drug reinforcement with particular emphasis on the neuropharmacology of alcohol and cocaine. Biosynthesis, release and uptake of neurotransmitters (catecholamines, serotonin and their metabolites); pharmacological modulation of these processes.
