Medical Students in Action

Wake Forest University medical students may actively diagnose and treat many patient problems in the Patient Simulation Laboratory. The Lab provides a safe environment for exploration and thorough understanding of many physiological and pharmacological concepts, as well as for professional behavioral issues, such as communication and team interactions. Students from their 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years of medical school participate in programs in the PSL through the departments of Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, Critical Care Medicine, and Family Medicine.
