PA Admissions Requirements
Admission Requirements for the 2009-2010 Application Cycle are now available on this site. Admission to the Program has become increasingly competitive. Applicants accepted in 2009 (Class of 2011) had the following qualifications: mean overall grade point average on prior college work of 3.54; mean science GPA on prior college work of 3.51; mean Graduate Record Exam (GRE) Quantitative score of 640. more
The PA Profession
Physician Assistants (PAs) traditionally have served in areas of need, providing care to those who might otherwise have little or no access to quality medical care. However, PAs work in many settings, from remote rural areas to major urban medical centers, private physicians' offices, hospitals, public health clinics, Health Maintenance Organizations, the Armed Forces and other federal agencies. more
