PAEA The program is a member of, and involved in, the Physician Assistant Education Association. This organization gives physician assistant programs an opportunity to exchange ideas and research on many educational issues related to the clinical education of PAs.
AAPA Faculty and graduates of the Wake Forest University School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program are involved in the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the professional organization representing physician assistants. Since its formation in 1968, the AAPA has taken an active role in determining the direction and development of the profession.
