Musculoskeletal Therapy Center
The Outpatient Musculoskeletal Therapy Center of Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center provides rehabilitation services to people living with a variety of traumatic and non-traumatic disorders and injuries.
The physical therapy staff works closely with orthopaedic surgeons, rheumatologists, internists and family medicine physicians to provide personalized services to patients.
Patients typically seen in the outpatient musculoskeletal therapy center include individuals with injuries and diseases of the neck, TMJ, back, shoulder, pelvic girdle, knee, ankle or foot.
Treatments may include manual therapy, aquatic therapy, therapeutic exercises, customized home programs, and customized orthotics. Treatment for chronic pain related to a variety of conditions, including fibromyalgia, arthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome, RSD and headaches, is also provided.
