Greven Named Vice Chair of Department

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Kathryn McConnell Greven M.D., a radiation oncologist in the Comprehensive Cancer Center at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, has been named vice chairwoman of the Radiation Oncology Department.

“Dr. Greven is nationally recognized as a clinician and educator,” said William Blackstock, M.D., chairman of Radiation Oncology at Wake Forest Baptist. “She will bring valuable insight to the administrative function of our department.”

Greven also serves as professor of radiation oncology at Wake Forest Baptist where she has made significant contributions to the field of radiation oncology through research and patient care. She has been with Wake Forest Baptist since 1989 and is certified by the American Board of Radiology, in radiation oncology. She received her postgraduate degree from Bowman Gray School of Medicine and completed her internship at Wake Forest Baptist.
