trained at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA. His clinical and research interests are directed toward disorders of neonatal pulmonary function. He headed our involvement in a collaborative project investigating the use of artificial surfactant and has become an authority in this field. He also directs the regional Neonatal Transport Program.
