Literature Search Request

Please click here to request a literature search.  Please include information on how to contact you so we may answer your question more efficiently. If your request is urgent please phone one of the Northwest AHEC Libraries.

All literature searches are performed by experienced medical librarians in databases appropriate to your research needs such as MEDLINE, CINAHL (Nursing & Allied Health), Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, etc. You will receive a list of articles and other resources relevant to your topic. Most articles include an abstract or summary. We will provide you with the full text of any of the articles you would like to have.

This service is available to the following people:

• staff members and physicians at institutions with membership in the Northwest AHEC Library Network   
• individual subscribers to the Northwest AHEC Library Network
• preceptors of medical, nursing, pharmacy, or other students in healthcare fields from Wake Forest University
• medical residents or students from WFU

 Non-Members
If you are not a member of the Northwest AHEC Library Network you may request a literature search for a charge of $50.00.
