Course Objectives
Upon completion of this class, the student will be able to:

• View scope note for subject headings
• Know at least 3 ways of limiting searches.
• Have a basic awareness of identifying evidence based materials.
• Understand how to search by fields.
•  Search by text word.
• Determine if the selected full text article is available in the chosen version of CINAHL.
• Understand the concept of sub-headings and have ability to apply them in tailoring searches.
• Understand how to email and/or save search results.

CINAHL Tutorials

• Basic Ebsco Searching Part 1
  This tutorial will cover the basics of searching by keyword and setting basic limits. Time approx. 3 minutes.
• Basic Ebsco Searching Part 2
  This tutorial will demonstrate adding citations to your Folder, and then saving, emailing and printing the articles you have added to your Folder. Time approx. 5 minutes.
