The NC AHEC Mailing List:

How Does it Work? What Does Being a Part of it Mean?

In the last five years, the North Carolina AHEC program has adopted a centralized database, accessible by each of the nine regional AHEC offices.  The combination of all these databases allows each AHEC to target mailings to their constituents, both within their region and throughout the state. The Northwest Area Health Education Center is committed to providing you with all of the information you need to maintain your professional education requirements.  Following is a list of the benefits of being part of the North Carolina AHEC mailing list.

Mailings targeted to your profession and interest areas
We don’t want to overwhelm you with brochures, mailings or emails regarding upcoming educational activities.  Therefore, we have developed a form to enable you to designate your practice specialties, interest areas, and where/how you prefer to receive information from us (email, mail, or fax). You will be asked to complete/update this form when you attend a Northwest AHEC workshop.

Quarterly catalogues

We will mail you a quarterly activity schedule. This will contain listings of our upcoming educational activities and articles related to your practice and new initiatives of Northwest AHEC.  To request a brochure for a particular educational activity, you can complete the form on the back page of the activity schedule.  The best way to continue to receive these quarterly activity schedules is to attend at least one educational activity   during the year since we want to target our mailings to those most likely to attend our activities.
