NCTars North Carolina Pharmacy School Coalition
NCTars North Carolina Pharmacy School Coalition utilizes all three pharmacy schools in North Carolina. The three pharmacy schools in NC are University of North Carolina Chapel Hill Pharmacy, Campbell University School of Pharmacy and Wingate University School of Pharmacy. Students with an interest in community pharmacy will be given the opportunity to participate in the NCTars Pharmacy Student Initiative Community Service Project. The main objective of the NCTars Pharmacy Student Initiative is for pharmacy students from each of the three pharmacy schools to develop an “antibiotic resistance, antibiotic appropriate use” education initiative for the various communities in North Carolina. The students and the academic faculty overseeing the project will create their education presentations and take them to local pharmacies, community organizations and schools, and they will present the antibiotic resistance and appropriate antibiotic use education and materials to the community.
