FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q        Can I apply to the PB program and WFUSM at the same time?.

A.        Yes,  however  you will be charged the regular  application fee and  must submit an application through AMCAS  by the Nov. 1 deadline. If applying to the Post Bac Program only, submit an AMCAS application selecting Wake Forest Post Bac Program (Special Programs) by Dec. 15. Pre-approval is required by sending your AMCAS ID to BGSM Admissions at  medadmit@wfubmc.edu. There is no fee if applying to the Post Bac Program only.

Q.         What is the latest  that I can I take the MCAT ?

A.         We suggest no later than the September Testing so that scores are available by the December 15th deadline.

Q.        How many applicants did you have last year?>

A.         We received over 200 completed applications, interviewed 29 for a class of 10. This program is VERY competitive.

Q.        When can I submit my application?

A.         We will start receiving  applications from AMCAS  in July. From July through December we will review applications for complete or incomplete status only.
