Second Look Weekend

Student Services/Diversity and Development Initiatives and the Student National Medical Association (SNMA) at Wake Forest University School of Medicine are valuable support  systems.  Wake Forest aggressively recruits and supports successful minority students.

The SNMA and Student Services/Diversity and Development Initiatives understands the complexity of the many decisions potential matriculants to our medical school have to make.  We hope you will consider Wake Forest as you decide on which medical school you will attend.

In an effort to give minority applicants an opportunity to lean more about opportunities available at Wake Forest, they are invited to return to our campus for a “Second Look”.

The “Second Look” weekend was developed to allow potential matriculants a chance to take another look at the school and meet and talk with minority students to learn more about the medical school program.  It is also a chance to  meet potential classmates.

The weekend offers a number of events for applicants to attend including the Annual SNMA Banquet, which honors graduating minority 4th year medical students.
