Literature Searching
Online searching provides current literature on a particular topic of interest. Using databases available through the Carpenter Library, a library staff member prepares a computer-generated bibliography on the specific topic requested. Databases cover a variety of subject areas including medicine, natural sciences, social sciences, business, and more. The computer search service is offered during reference hours on a cost-recovery basis. Medline searches are free. Citation Checking
The citation checking service validates citations in bibliographies for accuracy and correct format, thereby facilitating the preparation of manuscripts for publication.
