“I chose Wake Forest University because of the national merit the Physiology /Pharmacology program garners and the unique opportunity to tailor my pre-doctoral training around my career interests.  The Hypertension Group attracted my attention because of the excellent research performed by their scientists, and the community feeling where the students have access to many faculty members with a variety of backgrounds, but similar goals in cardiovascular research.  This type of environment will lay the foundation to create and foster my own philosophy on approaching research.”
