“I chose to pursue my PhD in Physiology and Pharmacology at Wake Forest University due to the amazing breadth of research opportunities available throughout the department. I chose to join Dr. Diz’s laboratory in the Hypertension Center due to her genuine interest in helping students become successful and innovative researchers. The amount of collaborative interaction between faculty and students and the cutting edge research makes the Hypertension Center very unique.”
