Graduate student, David Soto Pantoja won the best poster presentation at the Women's Research Day from the Women's Health Center of Excellence on April 3, 2008.
Physiology and Pharmacology graduate student, Jyotsana Menon received the Silver Award for Students in Basic Science at the Residents' and Fellows' Research Day for her presentation "Angiotensin-(1-7) reduces lung tumor growth in a Novel Bitrangenci Ki-rasG12C mouse model of lung tumorigenesis" on November 15, 2007.
Graduate student, Jewell Jessup was awarded a High Blood Pressure Research Young Investigator Travel Award to attend the VIIth International Symposium on Vasoactive Peptides in Ouro Preto, Brazil on February 14-16, 2008.
