COSEHC                   

Our Mission:

The Consortium for Southeastern Hypertension Control (COSEHC) is a professional organization of physicians, scientists, and health care providers working together to reduce the incidence of high blood pressure and hypertension-related cardiovascular disease outcomes (heart attacks, strokes, renal disease and heart failure) in the southeastern region of the United States.

 

Goals:

v      Improve the knowledge of hypertension and its related risks

v      Improve the medical care of cardiovascular disease in the Southeast

v      Enhance and promote research in hypertension and cardiovascular disease

 

Strategies:

Throughout the Southeast and in collaboration with our Center’s of Excellence network, COSEHC provides Category I CME professional education, public education, cardiovascular benchmarking and trending of risk factors and evidence-based management interventions.
