2005 – 2006 Students

 

Dr Augustus Grant, Professor from Duke University presents a presentation titled “Addressing the Challenges of Cardiovascular Medicine in the 21st Century”.

Dr Debra Diz, Director of the PREP Program and Dr Alain Bertoni, advisor talk with Dr Augustus Grant, invited guest speaker.

The PREP Poster Symposium was enjoyed by the students, guests, advisors and co-workers.

Melanie Harrison presents her poster presentation for Dr Augustus Grant and fellow students, “Alteration in the AMPAR subunits and Splice Variants in the STG of Human Schizohprenic Patients”.

Jala Daniel’s poster presentation was titled “Signal Transduction Pathways in the NTS”.

 

Jennifer Staten’s poster presentation was titled “Participation in Surgical Oncology Clinical Trials: Gender-, Race/Ethnicity-, and age-based Disparities”.

Katrice Shannon’s poster presentation was titled “The Diabetes Heart Study: A Sub-Study Analysis of Vertebral Fractures”.

Daya Stridiron’s poster presentation was titled “Role of Reactive Oxygen Intermediates in CD4+T Cell Proliferation and Differentiation”.

Kristin Dickson’s poster presentation was about “The Regulation of Angiotensin Converting Enzyme2…”.

Nobi Sarver, secretary for the PREP Program, stops for a moment to smile for the camera.

Kristen Hefner’s poster presentation was titled “Dipyridamole Promotes Changes in Calbindin and Tyrosine Hydroxylase Expression in Neonatal Rats”.

 

The students, guests, and advisors enjoyed lunch in the medical school’s black and gold décor.
