Overview of the offices:
Our offices are located within a newly renovated space on the Bowman Gray Campus at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. We have approximately 10,000 square feet of office space that is shared by faculty, staff and students. By bringing virtually all memebers of the genomics center into one suite of offices promotes interaction within the center.
Included in this office space, is a large space devoted to bioinformatics resources. This consists of a climate controlled computer room plus a large suite with cubicles for programmers and analysts.

We enjoy a state of the art meeting space with the Genomics Center Library. This area provides seating for up to 50 people, who can enjoy interactive presentations on a new Smart Board. The smart board is connected to an audiovisual system capable of seamlessly delivering sound, computer graphics, and printed media projection. This facility has hosted major meetings in the past, including the International Consortium for Prostate Cancer Genetics meeting in the Spring of 2003.
In addition to providing administrative support to all activities in the genomics center, the main focus of our genomics offices is on genetic epidemiological studies of complex diseases, linkage analysis, haplotype and association studies, fine mapping and general biostatistical support for the biologic studies performed in the Center.
