International Students

The Wake Forest University School of Medicine does not provide financial assistance to international students.  International applicants who are invited for an admissions interview must complete a Certification of Finances form.  The form will be provided by the Office of Admissions and must be returned by the scheduled interview date.

The purpose of the Certification of Finances form is to help WFUSM obtain complete and accurate information about the funds available for international applicants who want to study in the U.S.  Strict government regulations, rising educational costs, and economic conditions have made verification of financial aid resources of foreign applicants essential.  The form will also be used to complete I-20 or IAP-66 forms for accepted applicants.
