Ophthalmic Ultrasound

B-Scan: Melanoma "collar button"

Biometry A-scan is performed with multiple techniques and IOL (IntraOcular Lens) calculations are determined to optimize postoperative vision for the patient.

Improved B-scan technology with increased definition of the globe and optic nerve.

We offer "standardized echography" which is a special method of ultrasonic diagnosis that was developed through extensive clinical and experimental studies to differentiate ophthalmic tissue. This unique technique has a wide range of application in the diagnosis of intraocular, orbital and periorbital disease. This technique combines the two-dimensional display of B-scan echography with standardized A-scan providing a lesion's tissue character, size and location.

New, higher resolution, B-scan technology available to examine the arterior segment of the eye.

Doppler ultrasound is available to detect blood flow and direction of blood flow which is interpreted in a diagnostic manner. Color Doppler imaging reveals vascular disorders and defines flow characteristics of tumors.
