Dialing 716-9111 from any phone reaches Medical Center Emergency Dispatch which is staffed 24 hours a day on a year-round basis. When calling, state the problem and your location.
This guide has been prepared by the Wake Forest University Health Sciences Environmental Health and Safety (WFUHS EH&S) to assist members of the campus community in reporting and responding to emergency situations.
Your judgment often determines whether or not an incident is an emergency. If you consider a situation to be an emergency, then the guidelines in this handbook should be followed.
BLUE LIGHT CALL BOXES:
Bowman Gray Campus For safety and security, blue light call boxes are located on every level of the parking decks. For blue light call boxes, simply press the button and state the problem and your location. - Protect yourself.
- Wait for assistance. Retreat to a safe area if necessary
and/or possible. - Alert others to evacuate the area.

PTCRC and BRF-A1, LLC.
Blue light call boxes are located on every level of the BRF Deck One, LLC. at both the east and west side stairwell entrances. Emergency Communications are provided by NCBH ECC. For immediate assistance call 911 or Budd Security at 713-1191.
Friedberg Campus
If at Friedberg Campus, notify the Security Guard at 716-1660. The Guard Office is staffed 24 hours a day year-round. When calling, state the problem and your location. Blue light call boxes are NOT available.
