FIRE LIFE SAFETY

In order to create a partnership for success, our programs rely on the coordinated efforts of students, employees, faculty, WFUHS departments and external agencies.

WFUHS rests in the jurisdiction of the Winston-Salem Fire Department.  As such our program is designed to meet the varied requirements.

The WFUHS Fire and Life Safety Program is responsible for the conducting Fire Safety Inspections, Fire Safety Training, and manage compliance with the Local and State Fire Safety Regulations and Codes as well as any applicable OSHA programs.

This is a cooperative effort between Environmental Health and Safety, Facilities Services, WFUSH Engineering Services and NCBH Risk Management.
