BIOLOGICAL SAFETY

TRAINING
Individual principal investigators and supervisors must identify job-specific hazards and make sure their employees and/or lab workers attend safety training appropriate to the type of work they perform.

Course/Class Title

Bloodborne Pathogen – Refresher Training …Conducted Annually

Required for all lab workers using human body fluids, tissue, cell lines, or animal blood known to contain a human pathogen.

Infection Control for Clinical Personnel

Required for all clinical personnel

Basic Lab Safety

Recommended for all employees or lab personnel working with hazardous agents
