Plans for the center-wide picnic are underway. June 9 from 3 pm to 7 pm at Bolton Park has been reserved. Food will be pizza from Papa John’s. The PIC will provide drinks, too. The Blue Ridge Ice Cream cart will be there for parents to purchase ice cream ($2). Entertainment: bouncy structures, fire truck, Wally the Warthog, and art table. Graduation Picnic
Graduation is June 16. The picnic will be held at High Point City Lake Park. The organizers have projected attendance to be approximately 150 people. They estimate $600 is needed. PIC and CCLC have agreed to split the cost. Chick-Fil-A will cater the event. The organizers are looking for someone to set up the food, drinks, etc. at the park shelter before families arrive from the ceremony.
Next PIC meeting is Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at 12 noon.
