Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

The PTA ‘s purpose is threefold:
-
To serve as a resource and support to the center for the purposes of child education, teacher appreciation, center events, and community involvement.   
-
To build a closer relation to the home and the school, that parents and teachers may bond together to promote cooperation and boost morale.
-
To promote the health and welfare of the children in the home, school/center and community regardless of race, creed or national origin.

Parent Involvement Committee (PIC)
New for the 2005-2006 School Year

The PIC’s purpose is to assist the school in teacher appreciation and other events throughout the year, such as center programs and Week of the Young Child.  We ask only for parents to give of their time, creative thinking, organizational, and planning skills. Currently the PIC consist of 18 members. 


The PIC plans to meet the 1st Thursday of every month from 12:00-1:00 in the multi-purpose room.  Please join us if you would like to get involved.
