« October Teacher Event:

Dwayne McFerrin is in charge of this event, scheduled for the 25th of October. It will be a treat your teacher event. The PIC will provide Halloween decorations for the teacher lounge and treat bags for the teachers to fill. We are asking parents to volunteer to bring in different treats for the teachers to pick from. We would like to remind parents that some of the CCLC staff is diabetic, so sugar free candy and snacks would be appreciated. It was also suggested to bring in fruit as well. Anyone interested in helping out should contact Dwayne McFerrin (jdmcferrin@mindspring.com).

« November Teacher Event:

November’s event will be a teacher luncheon set for the 16th of November. This will require two people to organize. Right now this event hasn’t been assigned to anyone, giving any new members of the PIC the chance to volunteer. The PIC will be in charge of providing the meats. Last year the PIC provided a ham and a turkey. This year it was suggested to increase the meats to 2 apiece allowing all the staff plenty to choose from. We are asking the parents to volunteer to bring side dishes. The organizers of this event will be decided on next meeting.

« The Parent Involvement Committee meeting minutes can be found on the left menu under For Parents.  Take a look to see what exciting things we have planned for the center.
