 Dariel Rathmell, MD
Dr. Rathmell joined Community Physicians after enjoying a successful private practice. She graduated from New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ and completed her residency at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin where she served also chief resident. Dr. Rathmell is board certified and specializes in internal medicine.
Communication and honesty are key factors for Dr. Rathmell in the physician – patient relationship, as they allow for a free flow of information and better long-term healthcare. She stresses preventive care in order to keep patients healthy, but is very involved during times of illness.
Dr. Rathmell enjoys keeping herself healthy by hiking and bicycling in her spare time. She also enjoys reading and has a great love of dogs.
 William Watkins, MD
Dr. Watkins is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he graduated from the Hahnemann University School of Medicine. After completing his internship and residency at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in 1999, he joined Community Physicians and decided to call North Carolina home. He is board certified in internal medicine.
Dr. Watkins enjoys the interaction he shares with his patients, and encourages honesty and openness in his practice. By sharing his knowledge and experience, he hopes to provide his patients with the encouragement to maintain healthy lifestyles and practice preventive care.
In his spare time Dr. Watkins enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters. He also enjoys the outdoors, swimming and cycling.
