Meet our Providers
Stewart Cooper, MD
Dr. Cooper’s view on the doctor-patient relationship is that the doctor is a facilitator who counsels the patient as they together explore health care options based on the unique needs of the individual patient. Mutual respect and trust are the cornerstones upon which this relationship must be established, and this relationship should be cultivated and continuously nurtured. Board-certified, Dr. Cooper specializes in family and has a background in emergency medicine, with particular interests in sports medicine and urgent care.
Dr. Cooper received both his bachelor and medical degrees from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Dr. Cooper completed his residency in family medicine at the Sir Mortimer B. Davis Jewish General Hospital in Canada.
Dr. Cooper’s interests outside the office include athletics, the arts, and spending time with his family.
Walter A. Ezeigbo, MD
Dr. Ezeigbo graduated from Norfolk State University with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He completed his medical degree and residency training in family medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School. With a strong interest in sports medicine, a fellowship in sports medicine at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine of Wake Forest University soon followed. Dr. Ezeigbo is board certified in family medicine.
Dr. Ezeigbo feels that quality patient care begins with education. By educating his patients he feels they will become comfortable with the medical process, and only then can they make truly informed decisions about their treatment.
Dr. Ezeigbo is an exercise enthusiast, and in his spare time enjoys jogging and the thrill of competition in a local soccer league. He also enjoys family time with his wife and two daughters.
Bruce E. Lantelme, MD
Dr. Lantelme has been serving his patients here in Winston-Salem since 1996. His practice includes the full gamut of Family Medicine including obstetrics, newborn care, pediatrics and adolescents, woman care, health promotion and Laser aesthetics. He continues to believe health is a choice and a team effort. Dr. Lantelme realizes that options for patients are much more diverse than when he started. Alternative and integrative strategies, internet information access, the spiritual side of people, the ever expanding biotech fields, along with the many new types of medicines are naturally brought together in a Family Practice such as ours.
Dr. Lantelme graduated from Davidson College and received his medical degree from Wake Forest University. He was trained in the US Navy which by its very nature gave him a broad background in family medicine. He has practiced medicine in the high Sierras, Japan, Cuba, Jamaica, and Zaire and was a Navy parachutist.
Softball, photography, family time, and his church occupy his spare moments. He has two grown sons.
