Shiva Kincaid, MD
Dr. Kincaid is a strong believer in open communication between patients and their physicians. As a matter of fact, she considers it essential. A warm and genuine person, she encourages her patients to feel comfortable sharing the information that will ultimately lead to better care.
Board-certified in internal medicine, Dr. Kincaid completed both her medical education and her residency at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. A North Carolina native, she gives back to the community in many ways, from involvement with such organizations as the Forsyth County Public Library and Council to Habitat For Humanity.
Dr. Kincaid is married to a physician. They have three children. She enjoys reading, skiing, gardening and cooking.
Peter W. Robie, MD
Dr. Robie joined Community Physicians after several years in private practice. He received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and completed residencies at both Baylor College of Medicine Affiliates Hospitals and North Carolina Baptist Hospital. He is board-certified in internal medicine.
While extremely dedicated to the treatment of seniors, Dr. Robie provides expert care to patients of all ages. He's accessible and down to earth. In fact, many families know him not only as their physician, but as "coach."
In his spare time, Dr. Robie is involved in the Winston-Salem National Little League. Dr Robie is married with three grown children, two daughters and a son.
Lisa Marie Kistner, MD
Dr. Kistner is a board certified internist with several years experience. After earning her bachelor's degree in Biology from Dartmouth College, she attended The University of Rochester School of Medicine in Rochester, New York. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Kistner believes in caring for the whole patient, listening to them and addressing immediate concerns with a plan for evaluation, treatment and follow-up. She strongly encourages preventative health care with routine exams, as well as identifying and treating the patient's specific risk factors. She believes that patient education and a good doctor-patient relationship is necessary to achieve the best results.
Dr. Kistner is married to a transplant surgeon and they have three children. When not in the office she enjoys spending time with her family, writing, gardening, and cooking.
