Paula Breit, MD
Dr. Breit is a board certified family practitioner. After earning her bachelor’s degree, from the University of Miami, Dr. Breit continued her studies in Nutrition before entering medical school at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajarama in Guadalajara, Mexico. Following medical school she completed additional medical training at New York Medical College in Manhattan. She completed her family practice residency at the University of Connecticut/St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center where she served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Breit believes that good health comes from both physical and mental well-being. She encourages her patients to be active participants in their health and feels it is important to involve not only the patient, but their family as well, in healthcare decision-making.
When not working, Dr. Breit enjoys spending time with her husband and son. She also enjoys running and travel.
