Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center Community Physicians was formed in 1994 as a not-for-profit joint venture between Wake Forest University School of Medicine and North Carolina Baptist Hospital. On July 1, 2007 our name was changed to Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center Community Physicians. This name change was made to more closely align us with Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in the minds of patients and staff.
The organization was formed in an effort to stabilize and expand cost affordable, high quality, primary care services to residents of communities located throughout northwestern North Carolina.
In 1994, we consisted of 4 health care providers, in 3 practice locations, in 2 counties. In 2008 we have grown to over 45 health care providers, in 15 practices, in 6 counties throughout northwestern North Carolina.
Wake Forest Baptist Community Physicians are a team of well trained physicians, mid-level practitioners, and support staff who place strong emphasis on four key elements of a successful health care system: Available and accessible care in local communities; Excellent quality care; High patient satisfaction; and Cost affordable care in the most appropriate setting.
We look forward to the opportunity of providing you and your family with your healthcare. |
