The Role of Tumor Associated Macrophages in Endometrial Cancer

What we are studying

The purpose of this research study is to understand the fundamental role of a particular type of cell (tumor associated macrophages) in endometrial (uterine) cancer.

    • African American
    • Asian
    • American Indian or Alaska Native
    • Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander
    • Other
  • All Ethnicities
  • Ages 18 - 75

Eligibility Criteria

  • Scheduled to undergo a hysterectomy for either endometrial cancer or another reason at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center

What is involved

  • You will be in the study until all analyses of your endometrial cells are completed.
