Study on Treatment of Breast Cancer in Postmenopausal Women

What we are studying

The purpose of this study is to determine the treatment benefit and the safety profile of an investigational treatment or placebo (like a sugar pill) taken with fulvestrant in patients whose breast cancer is inoperable or has spread to other organs in the body.

  • Ages 18+

Eligibility Criteria

  • Diagnosis of breast cancer
  • Postmenopausal

What is involved

  • If you agree to participate in this study you have to come to the doctor’s office/clinic/study site prior to starting treatment to have the screening assessments done and be sure that you are eligible
  • Then during the treatment period you will come for visits twice per month in (Day 1 and Day 15) the first 3 months and monthly visits thereafter.
