Weight Management in Children

What we are studying

The purpose of this study is to collect information about participants and their families while they participate in Brenner FIT. This information will help us plan programs and interventions to understand family expectations of obesity treatment, what barriers may get in the way of participating, and learn why families may drop out of weight management programs. The best way we know to treat childhood obesity is to include the entire family in the treatment process. This will provide us valuable information for unique ways to specifically help the children and their family. These programs and interventions will be delivered in community and medical settings.
