Nominations

Nominations for Board Elections and Awards are accepted from MAA members, and recipients are selected by the MAA Awards and Nominations Committee.  Nomination is a continuous process.  The award categories and criteria are:

• The Distinguished Achievement Award honors "an alumna/us or house staff
   alumna/us who has distinguished him/herself in the profession of medicine."

• The Distinguished Service Award honors "an alumna/us or non-alumna/us
   who has made outstanding contributions to the Medical Center."

• The Distinguished Faculty Service Award honors "a current or former
   faculty member in recognition of outstanding contributions to the Medical Center."

• The Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award honors "a current or former
   alumna/us who has distinguished him/herself in the profession of nursing.

Please note:  Since we do not make an award twice in the same category to the same recipient, please refer to the list of previous awardees.
